This is the badges for an Enlisted Man serving in the Rangers in WW2 for his dress uniform. These are suitable for the four pocket Service coat and the later Ike jacket.

This WW2 badge set is for a Sergeant in the Ranger battalions which was one of the units that landed in Normandy as part of the D-Day landings and was famous for scaling the cliffs at Pointe de Hoc. The Rangers where also the unit that Tom Hanks led in the film "Saving Private".
